Do you know that most of the classics, which are free on the Kindle US and UK stores, cost US$2.00 for Asia-Pac customers?
I did, however, manage to find five classics (count 'em yeah) which are (miraculously) free even for Asia-Pacific customers:
1. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll;
2. The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne;
3. A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens;
4. Ethics by Aristotle;
5. Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau; and
6. Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes.

yeah! Only few books are available for free for Asia-Pacific customers. Lucky are those in US coz even new releases are available for free for a certain time period. They should add more titles for Asia-Pacific too.
